Rebound Sports Training Moves
With a lot of sports such as Tennis, Martial Arts, Netball, Football and Gymnastics etc there are many changes of direction needed and you work in multiple planes of movement versus activities such as running which is in one predominant plane of movement.
So, it’s important to include in your sports training section varied movement patterns and exercises that utilise all 3 planes of movement. Sagittal plane – forward and back, Transverse plane- rotational, Frontal plane – side to side/lateral movements to improve sporting performance and help with injury prevention.
The moves in this sport specific section are quite challenging and as with the cardio section it is important to coach progressions only when individuals are ready to up the intensity.
