Planning your Launch

As you plan your launch it’s important that you raise awareness of the benefits of rebounding and speak to your target audiences well in advance of the launch in order to create a “buzz of excitement” about this new workout.

Depending on your existing business model, for example whether you are gym with existing members/mailing lists, or whether you are a new Instructor starting out, then there will be different steps you might want to consider.

Below are a few tips and hints from other Instructors/Gyms who have successfully launched.

Steps to consider in developing launch plan

Identify your target audience – start with those who already take your classes if possible and introduce to them first.
Consider the right place on the timetable to launch so that the early classes are guaranteed to be successful.  Maybe considering introducing the rebound equipment into an existing popular class to generate interest
Identify new audiences – create class descriptions suited to this audience and identify a “second launch” group.  Consider tapping into other related social groupings e.g., Slimming World/Weight Watchers audiences are a good target market for Rebounding.  Also post-pregnancy and those carrying injuries from too much high impact activity (usually over 45’s!).
Publicise the launch – within your venue, mailshots, social media, via Instructors/word of mouth.  Consider linking the launch to an Event or Charity function.
Consider holding taster sessions or drop-in sessions so people can see what it’s like to bounce!  Takes away the fear and initial reticence

Use Rebound Fitness videos/photos/marketing materials and tailor them to your own details/brands.  Consider using the Celebrity Videos in your location/venue to raise awareness/interest
Follow and tag @rebounduk in all your posts on facebook, twitter and instagram so we can share and cross-promote

Link to Rebound Fitness facebook page so you can cross-promote new videos and photos and leverage these organically in your posts.  Contact us to discuss and set up.
Look at your pricing.  We find that many people want to be sure of a space so offer 6 week programmes as well as your normal booking system.  Even in a Members Only gym people charge for rebounding by including it with say a “6 week transformation programme” where nutritional advice is provided as well as the rebounding classes.
