As in every exercise class it is important to warm up the body slowly, so low intensity moves that involve the upper and lower body are really important to prepare the body for the main workout that follows.
Always stand on the rebounder for this section and use the warm-up moves to familiarise everyone with the mat surface, the area they have to work with, and to get the body familiar with working on an unstable surface.
Remember to reassure throughout those who have never been on a Rebounder before, and to motivate those who have and excite them about the day’s class. Use some of the many rebounding health & fitness benefits, facts and figures, to motivate.
Towards the end of the warm-up teach the Base Jump for those who are new to rebounding and use this as the transition move into the next section.
